The gland and chakra work collectively to give us a sense of security and survival in our physical world.
It overcomes the stress and tension that we face each day as we encounter resistance and complications in our daily living.

The chakra creates a link to our physical world and mother earth.
It serves like an earth wire to remove the additional charge (stress) that builds up within the body.
Strength & Weakness :
When the gland and chakra are both strong and exists in harmony with each other, the individual will receive all the qualities outlined above, and more.
The individual will be free of tension and insecurity that he faces in the physical world.
A strong centre serves to link the physical body to the physical world.
A weakness of this centre causes weakness of the skeletal system.
The individual has difficulty with his bowel and bladder movements.
He has an accumulation of stress than can cause a severe physical and psychological breakdown.
He may experience moments of sudden violence or depression that is unexpected of his character.
The detachment to our biological mother is reflected as a weakness of this centre.
